01. How should I care for my AMIULÉT?

To maintain the amulet’s power

  • Be sincere and have faith when asking for wishes. Practice good deeds and observe the Five Precepts while wearing your amulet.
  • Chant the opening chant each morning and give thanks to your amulet at night before removing it for showering or sleeping.
  • Build a bond with your amulet by wearing it often and interacting with it. Talk to it, share your joys and concerns, and seek its guidance.
  • Understand that blessings come in various forms. Do not be discouraged if the blessings you receive differ from others, as results vary based on individual merits, karma, and personal circumstances.

To avoid diminishing the amulet's power

  • Be respectful to your amulet. Refer to the Do's and Don'ts guide.
  • If the amulet is accidentally dropped or mishandled, apologize to it. The amulet will understand if you genuinely forget.
  • At the end of the day, it is good practice to apologize to the amulet for any mistakes made.

To cleanse or recharge your amulet

  • Chant the opening chant while holding the amulet clasped between your palms.
  • Amulets, like crystals, can absorb negative energy over time. To cleanse negative energy, use a selenite or clear quartz bowl, sound waves from a singing bowl, smoke from palo santo or a smudging stick, or hover the amulet clockwise three times above temple joss sticks.
  • To recharge your amulet, place it in moonlight during a full moon, either on a tray near a window or by wearing it during a walk under the moon. A minimum of 30 minutes is sufficient, but leaving it overnight is even better.
  • You may also visit Thai temples to have a monk chant and re-bless the amulet.

02. Can anyone wear an amulet, or are there specific guidelines?

Anyone, regardless of age, sex, or religion, can own and wear an AMIULÉT, as it is designed to enhance and uplift one's life. However, very young children may not be suitable wearers as they might not know how to care for or respect the amulet properly.

To properly care for the amulet

Refer to the Do's and Don'ts guide. Do not step over or on amulets, handle them with clean hands, and wear them above the waist. If a girl unexpectedly begins her menstrual period, it is recommended to remove the amulet, apologize to it, and keep it in a pouch for a few days. This practice ensures the amulet remains respectful and clean.

03. Are there cultural or religious meanings associated with certain amulets?

AMIULÉT amulets are mainstream amulets (正牌) consecrated by Thai Buddhist monks to bring blessings and are not associated with black magic or spirit items (阴牌).

We do not sell amulets associated with black magic.

04. Can amulets be given as gifts, or should they only be bought by the wearer?

Yes, amulets can be purchased for yourself or given as gifts with good intentions. Amulets are a meaningful way to bless loved ones and friends.

05. What are some taboos related to AMIULÉT? What happens if I break it?

If an amulet breaks suddenly, it may have absorbed or blocked negative energy, protecting you from danger. Sometimes, breakage indicates that the amulet needs maintenance, such as restringing a bracelet or tightening a casing.

06. Can I share my AMIULÉT with others?

You can use your amulet to pray for others' well-being or share it with family members, provided they respect and care for the amulet properly.

07. Can I wear the AMIULÉT with other protective accessories?

Yes, AMIULÉTs can be worn with other mainstream amulets.

For best results, wear them in odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, etc.). However, avoid wearing AMIULÉTs with non-mainstream amulets or occult items, as these could conflict with the amulet's energy and result in negative consequences.

08. How do I know if my AMIULÉT is working? How do I activate or deactivate it?

All AMIULÉT amulets have been blessed (开光) by Thai monks during auspicious ceremonies. The power of the amulet is activated when worn and bonded with the owner. There is no need to perform additional activation rituals.

09. My amulet casing appears to have a crack. I am unsure how this happened, and it is possible that I may have dropped it. Can I still wear it?

Yes, if the crack is minor, you may continue to wear the amulet, as this does not impact its power. However, if the crack is severe, we recommend placing the amulet in a ziplock bag to prevent any shards from falling out and potentially causing injury. Please bring it back to us, and we will mend the casing for a fee.

10. Why do I feel dizzy, have headaches, or feel nauseous while wearing the amulet?

The amulets are consecrated and imbued with blessings and spiritual energy, which may take some time for your body to adjust to. These sensations are temporary and will decrease as the amulet becomes attuned to your personal energy frequency with regular use and wear.

11. What if my amulet is in my bag, which might be placed on the floor? Will it lose its power or cause any negative consequences, especially if I have no other place to put my bag when traveling, working, or at school?

If placing your bag on the floor is unavoidable, you can minimize the impact by keeping your amulet in a pouch and placing it in the upper compartment of your bag to maintain some distance from the floor. At the end of the day, give thanks to your amulet and apologize for any unintended disrespect. Your amulet will understand your circumstances.

12. Should I wear my AMIULÉT on my left hand or right hand? Which is better?

Generally, wearing an amulet on the left hand is believed to help receive good blessings, while wearing it on the right hand is thought to help release negativity. However, it is ultimately up to personal preference. You may wear your AMIULÉT on whichever hand feels most comfortable to you.

13. Since moon energy can recharge amulets, can I use the sun’s energy to recharge my amulet?

Direct sunlight is not recommended for recharging amulets, as it can cause discoloration or damage to the amulet or crystals. Moonlight is preferred for recharging because it is gentler and does not risk altering the appearance of your amulet.

14. Can I bring my amulet or gold card into the toilet, or must I remove it?

Please refer to the Do's and Don'ts guide. To respect your amulets and keep them clean, it is best to temporarily store them in a pouch, bag, or pants pocket when using the toilet. If you have a gold card placed in your mobile phone or wallet, it is acceptable to bring it into the toilet, but keep it in a bag or pocket when not in use.

15. Can I wear my amulets during sexual activity with my spouse?

No, it is highly disrespectful to wear amulets during any sexual activity, as the amulet should not be exposed to such situations. It is best to place your amulets in a pouch, bag, drawer, or cupboard beforehand.

16. Can I wear or bring my amulets when attending a funeral wake or hospital, or should I leave them at home?

You may continue to wear your amulets for protection or bring them along in a pouch or bag, even at a funeral wake of a different religious belief. This practice shows respect and mindfulness toward the deceased's family.

17. Where should I place my amulet at home when not in use?

Place the amulet in a clean and elevated spot at home, such as on an altar, in a cupboard, or in a drawer. You can also keep it safely in a pouch within your bag.

18. Can I place my amulet on my bedside or study table when not in use?

Yes, you may place your amulet on a bedside or study table as long as no sexual activities are occurring in the room. For some individuals, amulets may disrupt sleep, so it is often recommended to keep them further away or stored in a drawer or pouch when not in use.
